Octadecylamine Polyoxyethylene Ether AC-1830 should be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated dedicated warehouse. The packaging container must be kept tightly sealed to prevent the product from absorbing moisture and being contaminated. The storage temperature is recommended to be controlled within ≤40°C, while avoiding freezing of the product, as the product form (paste or solid) will change with temperature. The freezing point is about 20-30°C, which is a normal physical phenomenon and does not affect performance.
The storage area should be away from fire and heat sources, and smoking is strictly prohibited. This product should be kept away from incompatible substances such as strong oxidizers and strong acids. The warehouse should be equipped with appropriate spill containment facilities to prevent accidental leakage. The product packaging adopts 50kg plastic drums, 200kg plastic drums, or IBC totes. During loading and unloading, handle with care to avoid container damage.
Since this product has certain hygroscopicity, the container should be resealed in time after opening. Operators should wear protective gloves and goggles, maintain workplace hygiene, and thoroughly wash hands after operation.
This product has no mandatory legal shelf life and is a nonionic surfactant with good chemical stability. There is no nominal shelf life data for AC-1830 in the Guoli Chemical product database. According to industry practice, under the above storage conditions, it is generally recommended to use within 12 months from the date of manufacture to ensure optimal performance in emulsification, wetting, dispersion, etc. For expired products, it is recommended to verify performance before use.
For each specific batch, it is recommended that users check the production batch number and manufacturing date on the product packaging, or contact the Guoli Chemical sales/technical department for the recommended usage period for that batch.
To ensure product performance, it is recommended to follow the "first in, first out" inventory management principle to avoid long-term accumulation. If slight delamination or appearance changes occur after long-term storage, the product can be restored by appropriate heating and stirring before use (e.g., water bath heating at 50-60°C). However, if severe discoloration, odor, or signs of deterioration appear, discontinue use.
