Cocamide DEA, trade name Ninol, with CAS number 68603-42-9, is a non-ionic alkylolamide surfactant prepared by condensation of coconut oil with diethanolamine. This product has an active content of over 92%, and compared to conventional 80% grade products, it has more outstanding thickening efficiency, foam stability, and compatibility. It is a multifunctional additive widely used in household chemicals and industrial cleaning.

The molecular formula of this product is a mixture such as C₁₁H₂₃CON(CH₂CH₂OH)₂, with a molecular weight of about 287, belonging to a medium-viscosity non-ionic surfactant. Its HLB value is between 6 and 7, with both hydrophilicity and lipophilicity, easily dispersible and soluble in water, with a cloud point range of 80~90°C. Under the temperature conditions of conventional liquid detergent formulations, it can stably exert thickening and foam stabilizing effects.
