This product is a nonionic O/W emulsifier (HLB value approximately 14-15), produced by ethoxylation of natural castor oil (CAS: 61791-12-6, 60 EO). It performs four major functions in various processes: emulsification, dispersion, solubilization, and wetting. It can be compounded with nonionic, anionic, cationic, and amphoteric surfactants, and is resistant to acid, alkali, and hard water systems.
