During the use of high-content fast wetting agent T-75A, the problems that may be encountered can be roughly divided into the following categories. It is recommended to first conduct self-troubleshooting:
1. Wetting effect does not meet expectations: First, check whether the dosage is appropriate. As a product with high active content, the recommended dosage of T-75A is generally lower than that of ordinary wetting agents. Next, confirm whether the pH value of the working solution is within the stable range of this product (T-75A maintains activity in a wide pH range), and whether there is excess electrolyte or incompatible auxiliaries in the system. Finally, check the operating temperature, as too low a temperature will affect the wetting rate.
2. Abnormal increase in foam: T-75A itself is a low-foam microemulsion tendency product with moderate foam under dynamic conditions. If there is too much foam, it may be caused by other surfactants in the compounding system or excessive mechanical stirring. It is recommended to adjust the stirring method or add an appropriate amount of defoamer.
3. Poor compatibility with other auxiliaries: T-75A can be compounded with anionic, nonionic, and some cationic systems. If precipitation, stratification, etc. occur, first confirm whether the ionic type of the compounding auxiliary is compatible, and adjust the addition sequence (it is recommended to add T-75A last and stir thoroughly).
If a personnel contact accident occurs during use, immediately refer to the following first aid measures:
| Contact Type | Emergency Treatment Measures |
|---|---|
| Skin Contact | Immediately remove contaminated clothing and gently rinse with plenty of running water and soap for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists, seek medical attention. |
| Eye Contact | Immediately open eyelids and rinse carefully with plenty of running water or saline for at least 15 minutes. Remove contact lenses and continue rinsing, then seek immediate medical attention. |
| Inhalation of excessive vapor/mist | Move quickly to fresh air and keep the airway unobstructed. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen immediately and seek medical attention. |
| Ingestion | Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth immediately, drink a small amount of water or milk to dilute. Immediately call a poison control center or seek medical attention. |
| Spill Treatment | Contain and absorb with inert absorbent materials (sand, vermiculite, etc.), collect and dispose of as hazardous waste according to regulations. Prevent entry into sewers. |
Important note: High-content fast wetting agent T-75A is classified as a skin irritant (Category 2) and serious eye irritant (Category 2). Always wear chemical safety gloves, protective clothing, and goggles during operation, and ensure good ventilation in the operating area.
Guoli Chemical provides customers with multi-channel professional technical support services:
Before contacting technical support, it is recommended to prepare the following information in advance so that technical personnel can quickly locate the problem: product batch number, usage formula and dosage, working solution pH and temperature, specific description of the problem phenomenon, and troubleshooting measures already attempted. This will greatly improve the efficiency of problem resolution.
