Laureth Phosphate MOA-3P is an anionic surfactant. Although its acute oral toxicity is low (LD50 > 2000 mg/kg), according to chemical classification, this product belongs to Skin irritation Category 2 (H315) and Serious eye irritation Category 2 (H319). In undiluted form, the product is acidic. Direct contact may cause skin redness, itching, and splashing into the eyes can cause severe discomfort and damage. Therefore, nitrile or butyl rubber impermeable gloves and chemical safety goggles must be worn throughout the operation, and the workplace should be well-ventilated.

This product has excellent electrolyte tolerance and chemical stability. However, attention should be paid to the addition sequence during formulation compounding: it is generally recommended to first add it to the aqueous phase and mix well, then gradually add other components. When neutralizing with alkaline substances (such as sodium hydroxide, triethanolamine, etc.), it should be added slowly under stirring conditions to avoid local overheating and splashing.
