Therefore, in any usage scenario, a comprehensive risk assessment should be conducted in advance, and all operators must be fully informed of the product's hazardous characteristics and protective measures.
The core risks of Polyether L-45 are concentrated in three aspects: causing serious eye irritation (H319), skin irritation (H315), and possible respiratory irritation (H335). This means that during use, any splashing, spraying, or inhalation of vapors/mists may lead to discomfort or even injury in the corresponding areas. Especially in high-intensity operations such as industrial cleaning and metalworking fluid formulation, protective awareness must be strengthened.
In addition, Polyether L-45 has excellent chemical stability, resisting acids, alkalis, and hard water. However, during storage or use, contact with incompatible substances such as strong oxidizers, strong acids, and strong bases should still be avoided to prevent accidental reactions. Proper storage and standard operating procedures are the dual foundation for ensuring product performance and personnel safety.
Industrial Cleaning and Dish Drying: Polyether L-45, as a highly efficient low-foaming wetting agent, performs excellently in spray cleaning systems. It is recommended to add it in the formula at a ratio of 0.5% to 5% (specific dosage should be optimized based on the formula system), using its rapid spreading and emulsifying characteristics to improve cleaning efficiency. During operation, the bath temperature should not be too high to avoid unnecessary vapor diffusion.
Metalworking Fluids: With its excellent defoaming performance and auxiliary lubrication functions, Polyether L-45 is suitable for high-pressure spray and high-speed cutting conditions. When formulating concentrates, it should be added slowly under stirring to reduce aerosol generation. The typical usage concentration is 0.1% to 2% of the working fluid.
Textile Auxiliaries and Pesticide Emulsification: In desizing, scouring, and bleaching processes, this product helps penetrate and suspend impurities. In pesticide emulsification applications, its self-dispersing properties can be used to prepare stable emulsions. For these two applications, attention should be paid to the pH conditions of the final product, as Polyether L-45 can stably perform over a wide pH range.
