Although not a flammable liquid, it may still burn when surrounded by fire, producing toxic gases such as carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide. In practical use, if the product is stored long-term in a low-temperature environment (below 5°C), Tween T-85 may exhibit significantly increased viscosity or even phase separation or solidification. In such cases, direct heating should be avoided; it is recommended to move the container to a room temperature environment (15°C–25°C) for natural warming, and after appropriate stirring or shaking, the original performance can be restored without affecting usage. If slight turbidity occurs, it is usually due to low temperature and will clear upon warming.
For bulk storage users, it is recommended to follow the "first-in, first-out" principle and regularly inspect the appearance and condition of inventory products. Opened product should be used as soon as possible; if further storage is required, ensure the container is sealed immediately after each use to minimize contact with air.
