Personal Protective Requirements
- Protective gloves: Wear chemical-resistant gloves to avoid prolonged or repeated skin contact.
- Eye protection: Wear protective goggles or face shield. Emergency eyewash stations should be available nearby.
- Respiratory protection: Maintain good ventilation, avoid inhaling vapors or mists.
- Post-operation cleaning: Thoroughly wash exposed skin after handling, change into clean work clothes.
Storage Requirements
- Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated dedicated area.
- Recommended storage temperature: 10°C to 40°C. Protect from freezing or prolonged high-temperature exposure.
- Keep container tightly closed, away from heat sources, sparks, and open flames.
- Avoid mixing storage with strong oxidizers, strong acids, and strong bases.
- The storage area should be equipped with dikes or spill containment facilities to prevent discharge into drains.
Emergency Procedures
- Skin contact: Immediately remove contaminated clothing, rinse with plenty of soap and water for at least 15 minutes. If irritation persists, seek medical attention.
- Eye contact: Immediately flush with plenty of water, lifting eyelids for several minutes. Remove contact lenses after initial rinsing and continue rinsing. If symptoms persist, seek medical attention immediately.
- Inhalation discomfort: Move to fresh air, maintain airway patency. If breathing difficulty occurs, seek medical attention immediately.
- Ingestion: Rinse mouth immediately. Do NOT induce vomiting (unless instructed by medical personnel). Seek medical attention immediately.
- Spill handling: Small spills: collect with inert absorbent materials (sand, vermiculite). Large spills: dike to prevent entry into water bodies, drains, or soil.
Usage Recommendations
This product is nonionic in neutral and alkaline environments, but in acidic conditions, the amine group protonates and exhibits cationic characteristics. In applications such as plastic antistatic and textile leveling, the system pH can be adjusted according to process requirements to achieve optimal performance. Waste disposal must be handed over to qualified hazardous waste treatment facilities; it is strictly prohibited to discharge into the environment.
