Octadecylamine polyoxyethylene ether AC-1810 is a nonionic (weakly cationic) surfactant, appearing as a light yellow liquid to paste (melting point 40~50°C), with an HLB value of 12.5, easily soluble in water and organic solvents. With excellent emulsifying, dispersing, wetting properties and acid-base stability, it plays a key role in multiple industrial fields.
This product also possesses weak cationic characteristics, which can impart certain adsorption and antistatic properties to treated surfaces, making it uniquely valuable in textile and plastics industries. Additionally, its low-foaming property makes it suitable for process systems with high foam control requirements.
| Industry | Process/Use | Function Description |
|---|---|---|
| Textile Printing and Dyeing | Leveling agent, antistatic finishing agent | Improve uniform distribution of dyes on fibers, reduce static buildup during processing |
| Pesticide Formulations | Emulsifier for emulsifiable concentrates, oil-in-water emulsions, microemulsions | Disperse and stabilize active pesticide ingredients, enhance wetting, spreading, and penetration of spray liquid |
| Daily Chemical Industry | Emulsification and solubilization in creams, lotions, shampoos, etc. | Help uniformly disperse oil-soluble components, improve formula transparency and stability |
| Metalworking Fluids | Cutting fluids, rust preventive oil corrosion inhibitors | Form a protective film on metal surfaces, inhibit corrosion, extend tool and workpiece life |
| Petroleum Industry | Crude oil demulsification and dehydration | Rapidly break crude oil emulsions, promote oil-water separation, improve dehydration and desalting efficiency |
| Plastics Industry | Internal antistatic agent | Reduce surface resistance of plastic products, prevent dust attraction and electric shock risks |
