AC-1830 is a light yellow to yellow paste or solid at room temperature (melting point approx. 20-30°C). It is recommended to preheat and melt it with warm or hot water (40-60°C) before stirring evenly and adding to the batch. This product is easily soluble in water and organic solvents, with an HLB value as high as 16~17 and strong hydrophilicity. It can be directly dissolved in the aqueous phase to prepare a working solution. In formulation systems, it is often used as an auxiliary emulsifier, antistatic agent, or corrosion inhibitor component. It has good compounding compatibility with anionic, cationic, and nonionic surfactants and can be flexibly compounded as needed.
In textile printing and dyeing, when used as a leveling agent, the recommended dosage is 0.5~2 g/L (relative to the working solution), and it can be directly added to the dye bath for circulating operation. When used for antistatic finishing of synthetic fibers, the impregnation or padding process can be adopted, with a recommended working solution concentration of 1~5 g/L. In pesticide formulations, as a nonionic emulsifier, it is compounded with pesticide active ingredients, solvents, and anionic emulsifiers. It generally accounts for 2~8% of the total formulation. When preparing emulsions, it can be directly added to the oil phase, mixed evenly, and then emulsified in water.
In metalworking fluids, as a corrosion inhibitor and lubricant component, the recommended addition amount is 0.5~3% of the formulation, which can be directly added to the mother liquor and stirred to dissolve. In household fabric softeners, the recommended dosage is 1~5%. Better results are achieved when used in combination with cationic surfactants. In industrial cleaning formulations, as a wetting and penetrating agent, the recommended addition amount is 0.5~3%, which is compounded with alkaline auxiliaries and other surfactants, especially suitable for low-foam, easy-rinse cleaning systems.
For different application fields, the recommended dosage and incorporation method of AC-1830 are as follows (the data comes from application experience recommended values; the specific dosage needs to be confirmed through actual formulation tests):
| Application Field | Functional Role | Recommended Dosage | Method of Addition |
|---|---|---|---|
| Textile Printing and Dyeing (Leveling) | Leveling Agent | 0.5~2 g/L (Working Solution) | Directly add to dye bath |
| Textile Printing and Dyeing (Antistatic) | Antistatic Finishing Agent | 1~5 g/L (Working Solution) | Impregnation or padding process |
| Pesticide Formulations | Nonionic Emulsifier | 2~8% of total formulation | First dissolve in oil phase, then emulsify in water |
| Metalworking Fluids | Corrosion Inhibitor/Lubricant | 0.5~3% of formulation | Directly add to mother liquor and stir to dissolve |
| Household Fabric Softener | Antistatic/Softening Agent | 1~5% of formulation | Compound with cationic and other components |
| Industrial Cleaning Agents | Wetting and Penetrating Agent | 0.5~3% of formulation | Compound with alkaline auxiliaries and other surfactants |
