AC-1860 has an HLB value as high as 18, indicating extremely strong hydrophilicity, making it particularly suitable as an efficient emulsifier for O/W emulsions with excellent dispersibility in aqueous systems. With a surface tension of about 30 mN/m and a CMC of only about 0.001 g/L, it can significantly reduce the interfacial tension of water at very low concentrations, demonstrating strong wetting and spreading abilities. This characteristic makes it perform excellently in textile leveling agents and pesticide emulsifiers.
The melting point is about 35~45°C, appearing as a solid or paste at room temperature. It is recommended to pre-melt in a 40~50°C water bath before feeding for easier measurement and uniform dispersion. The cloud point exceeds 100°C, indicating excellent high-temperature stability, fully meeting the requirements of high-temperature and high-pressure dyeing processes (usually below 130°C). The low foaming characteristic makes it especially suitable for applications with strict foam control, such as spray cleaning and metalworking fluids.
An amine value ≤5 and tertiary amine content ≥95% indicate a pure product composition with prominent non-ionic characteristics.
