Peregal O-10 (fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether) is a white to light yellow paste at room temperature, with a melting point of about 25°C. The simplest dissolution method is: add the measured amount of Peregal O-10 to warm water at 40~50°C, stirring while adding until completely dissolved, then add it to the formulation system as needed. Due to its excellent chemical stability, resistance to acid, alkali, and hard water, it can be compounded with almost all types of surfactants (nonionic, anionic, cationic, zwitterionic) for synergistic effects.
As a nonionic surfactant, its HLB value is 12.5 (according to the Guoli Chemical database), offering good emulsifying, wetting, solubilizing, and dispersing functions, with low foam and good rinsability.
