OP-30 octylphenol polyoxyethylene ether (CAS No.: 9036-19-5) is a high-purity nonionic surfactant produced by Guoli Chemical. It appears as a white to slightly yellow waxy solid or paste, with a melting point of about 45-55°C. Its molecular structure is C8H17C6H4O(CH2CH2O)nH, where the number of ethylene oxide adducts n≈30, and the molecular weight is approximately 1526. The active matter content of this product is as high as ≥99%, the free alcohol content is ≤0.2%, and the batch-to-batch quality consistency is excellent.

As a typical high HLB value (17) surfactant, OP-30 has a cloud point greater than 100°C, is readily soluble in water, and the pH of its aqueous solution is stable between 5.0 and 7.0. Its surface tension is about 30-32 mN/m, and the critical micelle concentration (CMC) is about 0.1-0.3 mmol/L, demonstrating excellent surface activity efficiency. At the same time, this product has low foaming characteristics and maintains stable chemical performance in acids, bases, and hard water, with good alkali resistance.
