High-temperature penetrant JFC-M (isomeric tridecanol polyoxyethylene ether) is an excellent non-ionic surfactant. With its outstanding penetration and wetting properties, high-temperature resistance (suitable for high-temperature and high-pressure conditions), acid and alkali resistance, and hard water resistance, it plays an irreplaceable role as an auxiliary agent in multiple industrial fields. It has good chemical stability, excellent compatibility with various auxiliaries, and low foaming characteristics, which facilitate subsequent cleaning and processing. It is widely used as a penetration-enhancing component in industrial formulations.
This product is most widely used in the textile dyeing and finishing industry. It can be used in high-temperature and high-pressure dyeing processes to promote rapid penetration of dyes into yarn or fabric interiors, improving dye uptake and leveling; it also accelerates the penetration of chemicals into fibers during pretreatment processes such as desizing, scouring, and bleaching, significantly enhancing impurity removal efficiency and whiteness uniformity. Additionally, its cross-industry applications in leather, papermaking, metal cleaning, and pesticides are highly mature.
| Application Industry | Specific Process | Mechanism and Effect |
|---|---|---|
| Textile Dyeing and Finishing | High-temperature and high-pressure dyeing (cheese yarn, hank yarn, etc.) | Rapidly penetrates inside yarn or fabric under high temperature and pressure conditions, improving dye uptake and leveling, especially suitable for dyeing materials that are difficult to penetrate |
| Textile Dyeing and Finishing | Pretreatment: desizing, scouring, bleaching | Promotes penetration of alkali solution, oxidizing agents, etc., into fibers, improving size removal rate, impurity cleaning effect, and whiteness uniformity, shortening pretreatment time |
| Leather Processing | Soaking and degreasing processes | Accelerates penetration of water and degreasing agents into leather fiber gaps, improving rewetting efficiency of dry hides, enhancing emulsification and removal of natural oils, and improving leather softness and feel |
| Papermaking Industry | Pulp penetration and waste paper deinking | Enhances penetration of cooking liquor into fiber raw materials, improving pulp yield; promotes ink detachment and dispersion during waste paper deinking, enhancing deinking efficiency |
| Metal Cleaning | High-temperature metal cleaning and hard surface industrial cleaning | Rapidly penetrates between metal surfaces and contaminants under high-temperature cleaning conditions, improving stripping and dispersion of oil, carbon deposits, and rust scale; suitable for deep cleaning of precision parts and production line equipment |
| Pesticide Formulations | Penetration enhancer | Reduces surface tension of the spray solution, promoting wetting, spreading, penetration, and absorption on target plants or insect surfaces, improving utilization rate of active ingredients and enhancing efficacy |
Choose the dosage reasonably based on process temperature and acid-base conditions: Under extreme conditions such as high-temperature and high-pressure dyeing, it is recommended to add 0.5%~3% (by weight) in the formulation. The specific dosage should be determined through small-scale tests according to fiber type, dye type, and equipment conditions. In pesticide synergist applications, the addition amount is usually 0.1%~0.5% of the total spray volume, which can significantly reduce surface tension and enhance penetration and absorption.
This product can be used in combination with non-ionic, anionic, and cationic auxiliaries, with excellent chemical compatibility. However, in formulations containing strong oxidizing agents (such as high-concentration hydrogen peroxide bleaching systems), pre-testing for compatibility is recommended to ensure long-term stability of the system.
