Low-foam penetrating agent SF (fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether phosphate) is a special surfactant with both nonionic and anionic properties, with CAS number 26468-86-0. According to the Guoli Chemical product database, this product does not belong to the physical, health, or environmental hazard categories defined by GHS. The acute oral toxicity LD50 > 2000 mg/kg bw, rabbit skin irritation score is less than 0.5 (non-irritating), flash point >150°C, and it is a non-flammable liquid. Despite this, general chemical safety regulations should still be followed during use, and protection should not be neglected due to low toxicity.
The outstanding technical characteristics of this product – strong alkali resistance (can withstand 300g/L NaOH solution), acid resistance, hard water resistance, low foaming, and strong penetrating power (1% aqueous solution canvas sinking method ≤10 seconds) – make its application range extremely wide. Application Recommendations
- Textile Industry: Used for desizing, scouring, bleaching, and dyeing processes of cotton, linen, synthetic fibers, and their blends. Recommended dosage is 0.1% to 0.5% (by weight) of the working solution. It performs stably in high-alkali (NaOH concentration up to 300g/L) processes, helping to improve treatment uniformity and production efficiency.
- Industrial Hard Surface Cleaning: Used for metal parts cleaning and CIP online cleaning systems. Recommended dosage is 0.05% to 0.2%. When used with alkaline or acidic cleaners, it can rapidly wet and penetrate dirt layers under low-foaming conditions.
- Paper Deinking: As a component of deinking agents, recommended dosage is 0.1% to 0.3% of the absolute dry pulp, promoting the separation of ink particles from fiber surfaces, improving deinking efficiency and pulp brightness.
- Leather Processing: In soaking and degreasing processes, recommended dosage is 0.2% to 0.5% (based on leather weight), accelerating water penetration and natural grease removal.

Precautions
