Answer
2026-05-17 官方文档 快速渗透剂,快T-40

Fast T-40 is a liquid penetrant used by direct addition. Add it to the working solution at a ratio of 0.1%~2.0% depending on the application area. It is easy to operate and widely compatible.

Detailed Description

Quick Penetrating Agent Fast T-40 (Dioctyl Sodium Sulfosuccinate) is a highly efficient anionic surfactant. At room temperature, it appears as a colorless to slightly yellow transparent viscous liquid, readily soluble in water, and can be directly added to aqueous systems. Its most notable feature is extremely strong penetrating power (standard canvas sedimentation test ≤5 seconds), enabling deep wetting of fibers and substrates in a very short time. It also exhibits excellent chemical stability, resistant to acids, alkalis, and hard water, maintaining high penetration activity across a wide pH range and hard water conditions without precipitation or failure.

This product is a low-foaming surfactant, producing minimal foam in continuous industrial operations, reducing or eliminating the need for defoamers. Due to its good compatibility, it can be used flexibly in composite formulations with anionic, nonionic, and most cationic systems. With an HLB value of 12.4, it combines penetration, wetting, emulsification, and dispersion functions, making it a versatile industrial additive.

For use, simply add the product directly to water with stirring to dissolve, or compound it with other auxiliaries. The specific dosage should be determined through small-scale trials based on the processing object, process requirements, and system conditions. Typical reference dosages vary by industry field.

Application Recommendations

Textile Dyeing and Printing: Used as a wetting and penetrating agent in pretreatment (desizing, scouring, bleaching), dyeing, and finishing processes. Directly add Fast T-40 to the treatment bath or dye bath and stir to mix. Its rapid penetration significantly reduces wetting time for high-density and heavy fabrics, promoting uniform penetration of dyes and auxiliaries into fibers, improving dye uptake and levelness. The industry general reference dosage is 0.1%~0.5% of the working solution, adjusted according to fabric density and process requirements.

Pesticide Formulations: Used as a wetting and spreading agent in wettable powders (WP), water-dispersible granules (WG), suspension concentrates (SC), and aqueous solutions (AS). Add it together with other components during formulation. It enhances the wetting and spreading ability of the spray liquid on plant leaves and target surfaces, reducing droplet runoff and improving effective utilization. The industry general reference dosage is 0.5%~3.0% of the total formulation weight.

Daily Chemicals and Industrial Cleaning: Add to general-purpose and heavy-duty cleaning formulations to impart rapid penetration and emulsification functions, effectively removing stubborn stains from fabric surfaces or deep-cleaning oil from industrial component crevices. The industry general reference dosage is 0.5%~2.0% of the total formulation.

Papermaking Industry: Used as a penetrating aid in sizing and coating processes to promote uniform distribution and bonding of sizing agents and coatings in paper fibers. The industry general reference dosage is 0.1%~0.3% of the sizing or coating working solution.

Leather Industry: Used in soaking, degreasing, and finishing processes to accelerate the penetration of chemicals into leather fibers, shortening processing time. The industry general reference dosage is 0.2%~1.0% of the total treatment solution.

Precautions

  • Skin and Eye Irritation Protection: This product is classified as skin irritant (Category 2) and eye irritant (Category 2). During operation, wear chemical-resistant protective gloves (e.g., nitrile rubber gloves) and splash-proof chemical safety goggles. After operation, thoroughly clean any skin contact areas.
  • Storage Conditions: Recommended storage temperature is between 5°C and 40°C, avoiding extreme temperature fluctuations and direct sunlight. Keep containers tightly sealed and store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated warehouse, away from strong oxidizers.
  • Dilution and Addition: It is recommended to pre-dilute the product with water and then slowly add it to the working solution with thorough stirring for rapid dispersion and dissolution.
  • Optimal Dosage Confirmation: The above industry reference dosages are general empirical values. The optimal specific dosage should be determined through small-scale trials based on actual process conditions, treatment objects, and formulation requirements to achieve the best performance and economic balance.
  • Environmental Protection: This product has low toxicity to aquatic organisms and is rapidly biodegradable, but it should still be prevented from being discharged undiluted in large quantities into the environment. Waste liquid should be collected and disposed of according to local environmental regulations.
  • Packaging Specifications: Guoli Chemical provides packaging in 50kg plastic drums, 200kg plastic drums, and IBC tote tanks to suit users of different scales (Data source: Guoli Chemical Product Database).
