High Content Fast Penetrating Agent T-75A is a high-efficiency anionic surfactant with dioctyl sodium sulfosuccinate as its core. It is widely used in wet processing and formulation of textiles, pesticides, daily chemicals, and other industries due to its extremely fast penetrating ability and broad compatibility.

Detailed Description

High Content Fast Penetrating Agent T-75A (CAS No.: 577-11-7) is a high-efficiency anionic surfactant produced by Guoli Chemical. Its chemical name is dioctyl sodium sulfosuccinate (DOSS), commonly known as fast penetrating agent OT-75. The product appears as a light yellow transparent liquid with an active content of ≥75%, enriched with active ingredients, requiring less dosage and offering outstanding overall cost-effectiveness.

The core advantage of this product lies in its excellent fast penetrating performance—the canvas sinking time of a 0.1% aqueous solution at 25°C is ≤5 seconds, achieving deep wetting in a short time and significantly reducing processing time. It also exhibits excellent chemical stability, remaining active within pH 4~10, resistant to hard water and electrolytes, and low foam (foam height by Ross-Miles method <50mm), suitable for continuous production. It can be compounded with anionic, nonionic, and some cationic systems to achieve synergistic effects.

The molecular formula is C₂₀H₃₇NaO₇S, molecular weight 444.56, HLB value approximately 13.5, easily soluble in water, surface tension as low as 26.0~29.0 mN/m (0.1% aqueous solution, 25°C), critical micelle concentration (CMC) 0.60~0.70 g/L, demonstrating strong interfacial activity.

Application Suggestions

Textile Dyeing and Printing: Recommended for use in pretreatment scouring agents, dyeing penetrating leveling agents, and finishing wetting agents. The dosage is usually 0.1%~0.5% of the working solution, significantly improving dye uptake and color fastness.

Pesticide Formulations: As a tank mix adjuvant or penetrating spreader in formulations, the general addition amount is 0.5%~3% of the total formulation to enhance the coverage and transmission of the pesticide liquid on the target surface.

Daily Chemical Cleaning: Plays a deep penetrating role in laundry detergents and hard surface cleaners. Recommended dosage is 0.2%~1% to quickly break down stubborn stains inside fibers.

Paper Industry: Used in paper coating and surface sizing processes, with a recommended dosage of 0.1%~0.3% of coating solids to improve penetration uniformity.

Leather Processing: Add 0.05%~0.2% in soaking, degreasing, and fatliquoring processes to accelerate chemical penetration and shorten operation time.

Coatings and Inks: Improves pigment wetting dispersion and rapid wetting of substrates. The recommended dosage is 0.1%~0.5% of the total formulation.

Precautions

  • Irritancy: The product is classified under GHS as Skin Corrosion/Irritation Category 2, Serious Eye Damage/Eye Irritation Category 2. Operators must wear chemical safety protective gloves, protective clothing, and eye protection when handling.
  • Storage Conditions: Store in a dry, cool, well-ventilated place, keep the container sealed, away from strong oxidizers, strong acids, and strong alkalis, avoid direct sunlight and extreme temperatures.
  • Compounding Compatibility: Stable within pH 4~10, strong acids and alkalis may cause hydrolysis. Small-scale compatibility tests are recommended before use.
  • First Aid Measures: In case of skin contact, immediately flush with plenty of running water for at least 15 minutes; in case of eye contact, rinse with eyes open for at least 15 minutes and then seek immediate medical attention; do not induce vomiting if ingested.
  • Packaging Specifications: Available in 50kg plastic drums, 200kg plastic drums, and IBC totes. It is recommended to follow the first-in-first-out principle.
