Complete Analysis of Physicochemical Technical Parameters of Isomeric Alcohol Ether Phosphate E-1310P

Detailed Description

Isomeric alcohol ether phosphate E-1310P, chemical name Isotrideceth-10 Phosphate, is an anionic surfactant. Its molecular structure is a mixture of monoester [C₁₃H₂₇O(C₂H₄O)₁₀PO₃H₂] and diester [C₁₃H₂₇O(C₂H₄O)₁₀]₂PO₂H, with an ethylene oxide polymerization degree of n≈10 and a molecular weight of approximately 730. There is no CAS number currently. At room temperature, the product appears as a colorless to light yellow transparent liquid with a slight characteristic odor.

E-1310P is known for its excellent extreme pressure lubricity, strong penetration and wetting ability, and outstanding chemical stability. Its HLB value is between 13-15, exhibiting low foaming properties and excellent alkali resistance (stable in 100g/L NaOH solution). This product shows good tolerance to acids, alkalis, and hard water media, maintaining activity over a wide pH range. It is a key raw material for formulating high-performance metalworking fluids and textile pretreatment auxiliaries.

Application Recommendations

Based on the above technical parameters, the application recommendations for E-1310P are as follows:

  • Metalworking Fluids: Utilizing the excellent extreme pressure lubricity from high monoester content (≥60%), it is recommended to add 3%-8% in cutting fluid and grinding fluid formulations to significantly reduce friction coefficient and extend tool life. The low foaming characteristic makes it particularly suitable for high-pressure, high-flow machining conditions.
  • Textile Pretreatment: Benefiting from penetration power ≤10 seconds and alkali stability, it is recommended to add 5%-15% in scouring agent formulations to efficiently remove cotton fiber wax and improve whiteness uniformity.
  • Pesticide Emulsifier: With HLB value 13-15 suitable for preparing O/W emulsion systems, the recommended dosage is 2%-6% to prepare stable and uniform emulsifiable concentrates or microemulsions.
  • Industrial Cleaners: Utilizing its low foaming and excellent degreasing and decontamination ability, it is recommended to add 1%-5% in heavy-duty cleaning formulations.

Precautions

  • Storage Container Material: Use containers made of stainless steel, polyethylene (PE), or polypropylene (PP); avoid carbon steel, aluminum, or copper containers as prolonged contact may cause corrosion.
  • Storage Temperature: It is recommended to store in a cool place at 5°C to 40°C.
