PPG-200 (Polypropylene glycol 200), chemical name polyoxypropylene diol, molecular formula HO(C3H6O)nH (n≈3-4), average molecular weight between 190~210, is an important chemical intermediate produced by Guoli Chemical. Its functionality is 2, with each end of the molecular chain containing a hydroxyl group (-OH). It can react through ether bonds, ester bonds, or with isocyanates to synthesize a wide variety of fine chemicals with different properties. The product has an active content ≥99%, free alcohol content ≤0.5%, with stable and reliable quality.

PPG-200 is a nonionic surfactant with an HLB value of about 1, strong lipophilicity, and certain water solubility – it is soluble in water and easily soluble in organic solvents such as alcohols, esters, and ketones. Its aqueous solution is weakly acidic to neutral (pH 5.0~7.0 for 1% aqueous solution). It has high chemical resistance to acids, alkalis, and hard water environments, and is not prone to hydrolysis or precipitation under complex chemical conditions. The product also has low foam characteristics, with a surface tension of 31~33 mN/m, demonstrating good wetting, spreading, emulsifying, and dispersing capabilities.

In terms of safety, PPG-200 is a low-toxicity chemical product with an acute oral toxicity LD50 greater than 2000 mg/kg, and a flash point (closed cup) greater than 150°C, so it is not classified as dangerous goods. There are no special hazardous requirements for routine transport and storage, but it may cause mild eye irritation (GHS classification H319).
