Although it has low toxicity, no skin irritation, and no sensitizing potential, standard chemical handling procedures must still be followed in practical applications. This product is stable under normal conditions and is neither flammable nor explosive. However, improper operation or substandard storage conditions may pose safety risks or affect product performance.
From a safety perspective, this substance may cause mild eye discomfort (rabbit eye irritation index ≤ 1.0), has low toxicity to aquatic organisms, and is readily biodegradable (OECD 301B test, 28-day degradation > 70%). However, if decomposed under high temperature or combustion conditions, it may release harmful gases such as carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, sulfur oxides (SOₓ), and ammonia. Therefore, adequate ventilation must be maintained in the usage area.
In terms of application, when used as a pesticide emulsifier, emulsion polymerization emulsifier, textile auxiliary, or component of industrial detergents, it should be avoided to be used together with strong oxidizing agents, strong acids, or strong bases to prevent side reactions that could affect emulsification, wetting, and dispersion effects.

Immediately evacuate personnel from the spill area to a safe zone and isolate. For small spills, collect with a clean shovel into a dry, clean, and covered container; for large spills, construct dikes or dig pits to contain, cover with foam to reduce vapor hazards, and prevent entry into sewers or groundwater.
This product is non-flammable and non-explosive, but heating or combustion in a fire may release toxic fumes. Suitable extinguishing media: water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide. Do not use direct water streams. Firefighters must wear self-contained positive pressure breathing apparatus and full fire-resistant and chemical-resistant protective clothing.
