Peregal O-20 is a nonionic surfactant (fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether) with dispersing, leveling and wetting properties, exhibiting good affinity for direct dyes and vat dyes.
Peregal O-20 (CAS 68439-49-6) is a fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene (20) ether, a premium nonionic surfactant with excellent leveling, emulsifying, dispersing, solubilizing, detergency and penetrating properties. It is used as a leveling agent in textile dyeing for even coloration, as an emulsifier in pesticide formulations for stable emulsions, as an emulsifying solubilizer in cosmetic creams and lotions, and as a detergent enhancer in liquid laundry products. Guoli Chemical provides factory-direct supply with quality assurance, technical support and sample service.
Performance Features
High HLB value (~15-17): Imparts strong hydrophilicity for O/W emulsification and excellent water solubility across a wide temperature range.
Outstanding leveling properties: Effectively controls dye uptake rate, ensuring uniform coloration and preventing streaking or spotting in textile dyeing processes.
Good dispersing and solubilizing: Maintains fine particle dispersion and assists in solubilizing lipophilic components into aqueous systems.
Effective scouring and detergency: Removes natural and processing impurities from textiles while providing reliable soil suspension.
Direct and vat dye affinity: Exhibits good compatibility and synergistic effects with direct dyes and vat dyes.
Application Guidelines
Textile Leveling Agent: 0.1%-0.5% in dyebath. Add at the beginning of the dyeing cycle.
Pesticide Emulsifier: 3%-8% as a co-emulsifier or primary emulsifier in EC and EW formulations.
Cosmetic Emulsifier/Solubilizer: 1%-5% in cream, lotion and shampoo formulations.
Industrial Cleaning: 1%-3% in metal cleaning and hard surface cleaning formulations.
Packaging and Storage
20kg woven bag. Store in a cool, dry place. Shelf life: 24 months.
