Dodecylamine polyoxyethylene ether AC-1205 (CAS No.: 26635-75-6) is a nonionic surfactant prepared by ethoxylation reaction using dodecylamine as the initiator, exhibiting cationic character in acidic medium. This product is a colorless to light yellow transparent liquid with active content ≥99%, easily soluble in water and various organic solvents. It has excellent emulsifying, dispersing, wetting and antistatic properties, with an HLB value of about 10.8 and a cloud point ≥60°C. Due to its good fluidity at room temperature, it can be directly used without heating or pre-dissolution. In most formulation systems, simply add AC-1205 slowly into the main solution under stirring conditions, and continue stirring for 10~15 minutes to achieve full dispersion. If the formulation needs to activate its cationic properties under acidic conditions (e.g., as a fiber antistatic agent or conditioner), adjust the system pH to 4.5~6.0 with acetic acid or citric acid. At this point, the protonated amine group will significantly enhance the adsorption affinity to negatively charged surfaces.
