Due to the dual properties of this product, both nonionic and cationic (under acidic conditions), its usage method is relatively flexible. It can usually be added directly—slowly adding the product to the aqueous or oil phase while stirring to ensure thorough mixing; it can also be pre-diluted with warm water (approximately 30~40°C) to form a solution before adding to the formulation system for more uniform dispersion. In formulations such as acidic cleaners or metalworking fluids, it is recommended to first adjust the pH to weakly acidic with acid to fully stimulate its cationic adsorption performance.
