Dodecylamine Polyoxyethylene Ether AC-1205 (CAS No.: 26635-75-6) is a nonionic surfactant prepared by ethoxylation of dodecylamine (laurylamine) as the starting agent. Its molecular structure is unique, being nonionic under normal conditions, which grants it excellent formulation compatibility. When the system is switched to an acidic environment, the amine groups in the molecule undergo protonation, exhibiting cationic characteristics, providing excellent adsorption and affinity to meet the needs of different working conditions.
This product has multiple significant performance advantages: efficient emulsification ability can quickly reduce oil/water interfacial tension, forming a stable and fine emulsion system; long-lasting dispersion stability provides excellent dispersion and suspension effects for pigments, solid particles, and active substances; excellent wetting and spreading properties significantly reduce the contact angle of the working fluid on substrates such as fabrics, metals, and plastics; and it also has excellent chemical tolerance, maintaining stable surface activity and solubility in acid, alkali, and hard water systems.
In addition, the molecular structure of AC-1205 also imparts good antistatic effects to fibers and surfaces, while providing a soft, smooth tactile finish. The acute oral toxicity (rat) LD50 of the product is greater than 2000 mg/kg, which falls into the low acute toxicity category, but attention should be paid to its irritating effects on skin and eyes during use.

Agricultural Chemical Formulations: Used as a highly effective emulsifier in pesticide formulations such as emulsifiable concentrates (EC) and emulsions in water (EW), significantly reducing oil-water interfacial tension, improving the thermodynamic stability and dilution dispersibility of the emulsion. It can also be used as an adjuvant for dispersible oil-based suspension concentrates and as a tank-mix synergist.
Textile and Leather Processing: Used as a high-temperature leveling agent and fiber antistatic agent in synthetic fiber pretreatment, dyeing, and finishing processes, improving dye migration ability, reducing static buildup and uneven dyeing; can also be used as a soaping agent after dyeing.
Daily Chemicals: Serves as a thickening, emulsifying, and antistatic conditioning component in formulations such as shampoos, conditioners, and body washes, improving foam fineness and imparting a smooth and soft feel to hair and skin; also applicable to fabric softeners and hard surface cleaners.
Industrial and Metalworking: Used in metal cutting fluids, grinding fluids, and rust preventive fluids, providing lubrication, dispersion, and rust prevention; suitable for industrial hard surface cleaners and pigment/paint dispersion systems.
Petroleum and Energy: Used as a crude oil demulsifier and desalting agent, accelerating oil-water separation of crude oil emulsions, reducing interfacial film strength for rapid demulsification; can also serve as a synergist for oilfield acidizing corrosion inhibitors.
