The core chemical component of AC-1205 is Polyoxyethylene (5) Dodecylamine (English name: PEG-5 Dodecylamine), with the molecular formula C22H47NO5 and a molecular weight of approximately 405.6 g/mol. This product is produced by ethoxylation addition reaction of hydrophobic dodecylamine (laurylamine) with 5 molecules of ethylene oxide (EO), belonging to typical alkylamine polyoxyethylene ether compounds. According to the Guoli Chemical product database, the effective content (active matter) of this product is not less than 99%, representing a high-purity single-component surfactant system without impurities such as free phosphate esters, monoesters, or diesters.

With its unique 'non-ionic to cationic switchable' property, AC-1205 is extremely flexible in practical applications. Under neutral or alkaline conditions, it exhibits excellent emulsifying, dispersing, and wetting functions in its non-ionic form; when the system switches to an acidic environment, the amine group protonates to exhibit cationic characteristics, significantly enhancing adsorption on negatively charged surfaces, making it suitable for formulations such as hair conditioners, fiber antistatic agents, and metal corrosion inhibitors. Additionally, its low foaming, high chemical resistance (resistant to acid, alkali, and hard water), and excellent oil/water interfacial activity make it outstanding in fields such as pesticide emulsification, crude oil demulsification, industrial cleaning, and pigment dispersion.
According to GHS classification, this product causes skin irritation and serious eye irritation, and has long-lasting effects on aquatic life. During operation, chemical safety goggles and nitrile rubber protective gloves must be worn strictly to avoid contact with skin and eyes. For daily storage, keep the container tightly sealed and store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place (recommended +5°C to +35°C), away from strong oxidizers and heat sources. For detailed emergency measures, please refer to the Safety Data Sheet (SDS).
