AC-1860 (stearylamine polyoxyethylene (60) ether) is a light yellow to yellow-brown solid or paste at room temperature, with excellent water solubility. Before use, it is recommended to pre-melt it or dissolve it in warm water (40-60°C) to prepare a mother liquor of a certain concentration according to actual working conditions, and then add it to the formula system proportionally. This facilitates its rapid dispersion and full exertion of emulsifying and wetting effects.
This product exhibits cationic properties in acidic media. Therefore, in acidic formulations (such as acid pickling corrosion inhibitors, acidic leveling agents, etc.), its surface activity and adsorption capacity on negatively charged surfaces are significantly enhanced. In neutral and alkaline systems, it maintains non-ionic properties, showing excellent chemical stability. It can withstand general acid-base environments and hard water conditions, and is not easily hydrolyzed or deactivated.
The actual usage amount should be determined through experiments based on specific process requirements. When used as an emulsifier, the recommended dosage is 5% to 15% of the oil phase weight; as a leveling agent, it is usually 0.5 to 2 g/L of the dye bath; in industrial cleaning formulations, the addition amount is generally 2% to 8%; when used as an antistatic agent or spinning oil component, it is recommended to prepare a working solution of 0.5% to 3%.

Textile Dyeing Leveling: Prepare mother liquor and directly add to the dye bath, dosage 0.5-2 g/L. In high-temperature and high-pressure dyeing, it can effectively slow down the dye uptake rate, reducing color spots and streaks. If used in an acidic dye bath, its cationic properties can further enhance affinity for fibers.
Industrial and Household Cleaners: Compound with other surfactants (such as AEO, sulfonic acid, etc.), add 2% to 8% of the total formula. It is recommended to dissolve in warm water first before adding to the formula system, significantly improving the ability to remove grease and dirt.
Pesticide Emulsifier: When used to prepare emulsifiable concentrates or water emulsions, add 5% to 12% of the oil phase weight. Mixing with non-ionic emulsifiers (such as Nongru 600 series) yields better results, enhancing wetting and spreading of the liquid on plant leaves.
Metalworking Fluids: As an emulsifier and anti-rust component, add 5% to 10% of the concentrate. First mix evenly with base oil, then add water phase to prepare, improving lubrication cooling and in-process anti-rust performance of cutting fluids.
Chemical Fiber Spinning Oil and Antistatic Agent: Prepare a working solution of 0.5% to 3%, apply by dipping or spraying to effectively reduce fiber friction coefficient and eliminate static accumulation.
