Antistatic agent MOA3PK-40 (fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether phosphate potassium salt) is an anionic special surfactant designed for electrostatic elimination inside polymer materials. Its usage methods mainly include two types: internal blending method and surface treatment method, among which the internal blending method is most widely used. In plastic processing (such as injection molding, extrusion, blow molding), this product is pre-mixed with resin base material and melt-blended using a twin-screw extruder or internal mixer to evenly disperse the antistatic agent in the polymer matrix. A continuous hydrophilic conductive molecular layer gradually forms on the surface of the formed product, adsorbing trace moisture in the air, thereby effectively reducing surface resistivity and achieving long-lasting electrostatic dissipation.
For polyurethane systems, MOA3PK-40 can be directly added as an additive antistatic component to the polyol component, stirred evenly, and then reacted with isocyanate for foaming or casting molding. In synthetic fiber spinning oil agents, this product is usually compounded with other lubricants and emulsifiers to impart excellent antistatic properties, smoothness, and bundling performance to the fibers. In solvent-based coatings and inks, it can be added during the grinding or paint mixing stage, relying on its good oil-water dual solubility for rapid dispersion.
According to the product database of Guoli Chemical, the effective content of this product is ≥40%, HLB value is 11~13, it is easily soluble in oil and water, and has good compatibility with various polymers and organic systems. The database does not provide specific recommended addition amounts for each application field. The following recommended amounts are industry experience reference ranges. Users should conduct small-scale tests to optimize based on actual formulations, substrate characteristics, and target antistatic levels.

Internal antistatic addition for plastics (PVC, PS, ABS, PE, PP): Recommended addition amount 0.3%~3.0% (based on total resin mass). It can be directly mixed with resin pellets and then fed into a screw extruder for melt blending. Note that the processing temperature should not exceed 220℃ to avoid ester bond decomposition affecting antistatic durability. For thin-wall injection molded parts or film products, the addition amount can be on the lower end; for thick-walled products or high antistatic requirements, it can be on the higher end.
Synthetic fiber spinning oil agent: Recommended dosage in oil agent formulation 3%~15% (based on total oil agent amount), compounded with smoothing agents, emulsifiers, etc., to impart good antistatic properties and bundling performance to fibers, reducing broken filaments and ends.
Polyurethane foam and elastomer: Recommended addition amount 0.5%~5.0% (based on polyol mass), added to the polyol component and stirred to disperse evenly before foaming or casting reaction, achieving long-lasting electrostatic dissipation from inside to the surface of the product.
Oil-based coatings and ink systems: Recommended addition amount 0.1%~2.0% (based on total formulation mass), added during the grinding or paint mixing stage, and high-speed dispersion ensures uniform mixing. Used in industrial protective coatings and precision printing fields, effectively preventing dust adsorption and electrostatic discharge on the coating film.
