In terms of adaptability to harsh working conditions, XS-02 performs excellently. The pulping black liquor environment has high temperatures (up to 80~90°C) and strong alkalinity (pH 12~14). Ordinary defoamers often quickly deactivate or precipitate out under such conditions. The nonionic polyether ester structure of XS-02 enables it to maintain stable defoaming and foam inhibition performance in such extreme systems, effectively preventing black liquor tank overflow and ensuring the continuous and stable operation of the alkali recovery system. In the paper machine white water closed circulation system, as the number of white water cycles increases, dissolved and colloidal substances (DCS) accumulate, placing extremely high demands on the compatibility of defoamers. The nonionic nature of XS-02 gives it good compatibility with anionic and cationic auxiliaries, as well as various sizing agents and strengthening agents in the system, without causing side reactions or precipitation—this is difficult for many ionic defoamers to achieve.
From the perspective of economy and management convenience, XS-02, with its ability to "cover multiple processes with a single product", can be used universally in key processes such as pulping black liquor, paper machine white water, coating color, and surface sizing, significantly simplifying the paper mill's procurement categories and inventory management. At the same time, its effective content is ≥99%, achieving ideal foam control at very low addition levels, making the overall use cost more competitive than traditional defoamers.
