According to different application fields, the specific usage methods are as follows:

As a key synthesis intermediate for AES (sodium fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether sulfate), MOA-4 needs to be sulfonated with sulfur trioxide (SO₃) or chlorosulfonic acid in a specialized sulfonation reaction unit, and then neutralized with liquid caustic soda to obtain the finished AES product.
