PEG400DL is produced by the esterification reaction of polyethylene glycol 400 and lauric acid. The product has a molecular weight of approximately 400, CAS number 9005-02-1, belongs to nonionic surfactants, with an HLB value of about 20, strong hydrophilicity, excellent solubility in water, and also soluble in organic solvents such as ethanol and acetone.

The active content and solid content of this product are both ≥99%, moisture content ≤0.5%, exhibiting high purity characteristics. Its acid value and saponification value are both controlled at ≤1.0 mgKOH/g, hydroxyl value range is 264~290 mgKOH/g, reflecting extremely low free fatty acid content and sufficient esterification reaction.
