2. Poor Emulsification Effect — The HLB value of PEG400DL is approximately 20, suitable for forming O/W emulsions. If the emulsification effect is poor, check whether the oil phase type matches the HLB value, whether the dosage is sufficient (recommended starting amount 1%~5% and gradually optimize), and whether the homogenization process is adequate. This product is easily soluble in water; it is recommended to disperse it in water first before adding the oil phase.
3. Excessive Foam or Difficult Rinsing — This product is designed as a low-foaming surfactant. If abnormal foaming occurs during actual use, check whether it is compounded with other high-foaming surfactants or whether the system pH deviates (1% aqueous solution pH is 5.0~7.0).
4. Product Moisture Absorption and Deterioration — PEG400DL is hygroscopic. Failure to seal promptly after opening may cause moisture absorption. After use, the container must be immediately and tightly sealed. Use original packaging or confirmed compatible material containers (such as stainless steel, high-density polyethylene) for storage.
