When using, the following three mainstream addition methods can be selected according to specific process conditions:

Direct Addition Method: For aqueous systems (such as industrial cleaners, pesticide emulsions), PEG600MO can be directly added to the aqueous phase under stirring conditions and stirred evenly. Due to its good water dispersibility, it generally dissolves without heating. Premixing Method: For formulations containing oil phase components (such as creams, lotions, metalworking fluid concentrates), it is recommended to first mix PEG600MO evenly with oily components (such as mineral oil, vegetable oil, active oils, etc.), then slowly add to the water phase under stirring for emulsification, which can obtain a finer and more stable emulsion. Heating and Melting Method: In low-temperature environments, the product may be paste-like. It is recommended to preheat the packaging drum in a 30–40°C water bath, or use a heating jacket. Application Recommendations

Personal Care and Cosmetics: Used as an emulsifier for O/W creams, lotions, cleansing oils, and facial cleansers. The recommended dosage is 1%–5% of the total formula weight. Mix PEG600MO with the oil phase (such as vegetable oils, ester oils, silicone oils, etc.) and heat to 60–75°C, while heating the water phase to a similar temperature. It can also be used as a solubilizer for flavors and essential oils, with a recommended dosage of 2–5 times the amount of the solubilizate.

Metalworking Fluids: Used as an emulsifier and lubricating component in cutting fluids and grinding fluids. The recommended addition amount in the concentrate formula is 5%–15%. Mix PEG600MO evenly with base oil, rust inhibitors, extreme pressure additives, and other oily components. Dilute with water to a working fluid concentration of 5%–10% before use to obtain a stable emulsified processing fluid.
