The environmentally friendly penetrant JFC (fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether, CAS: 68439-50-9) is a nonionic surfactant, readily soluble in water, with an HLB value between 11 and 13. It exhibits excellent penetration, wetting, and emulsifying capabilities. Its penetration power is extremely strong (standard canvas sedimentation method ≤5 seconds), and it is a low-foam product that maintains stable performance over a wide pH and temperature range. It is resistant to acids and alkalis (stable in 1%~5% NaOH solution) and can be used in combination with other anionic, cationic, and nonionic surfactants.
Before use, it is recommended to dilute the product with an appropriate amount of water and slowly add it to the working solution, stirring evenly for it to take effect. When used as a pre-treatment penetrant or cleaning aid, the working solution temperature is best controlled between room temperature and 60°C. The cloud point is 40~50°C. Exceeding the cloud point may cause precipitation and turbidity, but it can recover after cooling without affecting performance. During use, protective gloves and goggles should be worn to avoid direct contact with skin and eyes.

Textile Dyeing and Finishing Pre-Treatment (Desizing, Scouring, Bleaching): Recommended dosage is 0.1%~0.5% of the working solution. Add directly to the treatment bath during pre-treatment of cotton, linen, synthetic fibers, and their blends. It enables rapid wetting and uniform penetration into the fiber interior, significantly improving capillary effect and whiteness. Its low-foam properties are particularly suitable for high-speed overflow dyeing equipment.
Industrial Hard Surface Cleaning: Recommended dosage is 0.2%~1.0% of the total cleaning solution. In water-based cleaning formulations for metal parts, molds, and pipelines, it is used in combination with other surfactants and alkaline additives. It penetrates deep into the interface between oil and substrate, quickly rolling off and emulsifying heavy grease, maintaining good cleaning efficiency even at room temperature.
Leather Soaking and Degreasing: For soaking, add 0.3%~0.8% of the raw hide weight; for degreasing, add 0.5%~1.0% (used with alkaline additives). It accelerates moisture penetration, shortens soaking time, and effectively emulsifies and removes natural fats.
Paper Deinking: Recommended dosage is 0.1%~0.3% of the bone-dry pulp weight. During waste paper deinking, it acts as a penetration and emulsification aid, promoting the detachment and dispersion of ink from fiber surfaces.
Pesticide Wettable Powders and Emulsifiable Concentrates: As a wetting and dispersing component, recommended dosage is 1%~5% of the total formulation. It improves the wetting speed and suspension rate of technical particles and enhances the spontaneous dispersibility and dilution stability of emulsifiable concentrates.
Water-Based Coatings and Inks: Recommended dosage is 0.2%~0.5% of the total formulation. Add during the pigment dispersion stage to rapidly wet the surface of pigments and fillers, assist mechanical shear in achieving dispersion, lower the dynamic surface tension of the system, and improve spreading and leveling on substrates.
The above recommended dosages are based on industry application experience (from the Guoli Chemical product database). The actual optimal dosage should be confirmed through small-scale tests.
