High-temperature penetrating agent JFC-M is a nonionic surfactant produced by Haian Guoli Chemical Co., Ltd., with the chemical composition of isotridecyl alcohol polyoxyethylene ether (CAS number: 5689-56-3). Due to its excellent penetrating power, high-temperature resistance, and alkali resistance, it is widely used in high-temperature industrial fields such as textile printing and dyeing, leather processing, papermaking, and metal cleaning.

Detailed Description

High-temperature penetrating agent JFC-M appears as a light yellow to yellow transparent liquid, belonging to the nonionic surfactant category. Its core advantages lie in rapid penetration and excellent wetting properties. The standard canvas sedimentation method test shows a penetration time of ≤5 seconds, maintaining stable penetration performance under complex conditions such as high temperature, high pressure, acid-base environments, and hard water. This product has good chemical stability, low foam characteristics facilitating subsequent cleaning processes, and excellent compatibility with various anionic, cationic, and nonionic auxiliaries.

From a molecular structure perspective, JFC-M is synthesized by the addition polymerization of isotridecyl alcohol and ethylene oxide (n≈6), with a molecular weight of about 450. The branched chain structure of isotridecyl gives it a low pour point and good fluidity, making it easy to handle even under low-temperature conditions. Meanwhile, the moderate ethylene oxide addition number gives the product a hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB) value of 10~12, allowing it to effectively reduce surface tension (28~32 mN/m) in aqueous solutions and provide good wetting and spreading effects on fiber and metal surfaces. Its critical micelle concentration (CMC) is only 0.005%~0.01%, meaning an extremely low dosage can achieve excellent penetration and emulsification effects.

In terms of safety, high-temperature penetrating agent JFC-M is classified as a non-hazardous chemical, with low acute oral toxicity (LD₅₀ > 2000 mg/kg), but it is moderately irritating to the eyes. It is recommended to wear chemical safety goggles when handling. The product is strictly prohibited from use in food, pharmaceuticals, and areas involving direct human contact. It should be stored in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated area away from strong oxidants. Recommended packaging materials include stainless steel, polyethylene, or carbon steel lined with epoxy resin.

Application Recommendations

High-temperature penetrating agent JFC-M has mature application solutions in multiple industrial fields. It is recommended to adjust the dosage according to the specific process:

  • High-Temperature and High-Pressure Dyeing in Textile Printing and Dyeing: Recommended dosage: 1~3g/L. Under high-temperature and high-pressure conditions at 110~135℃, it promotes rapid penetration of dyes into dense fiber structures such as cheese yarn and hank yarn, significantly improving dye uptake and levelness.
  • Textile Pretreatment (Desizing/Scouring/Bleaching): Recommended dosage: 2~5g/L. Used in combination with alkali and hydrogen peroxide, it accelerates the penetration of the working solution into the fiber core, shortening processing time and improving desizing rate and whiteness uniformity.
  • Leather Soaking and Degreasing: Recommended dosage: 0.5~2g/L (based on leather weight). It accelerates the rehydration of dry leather, enhances the emulsification and removal of natural oils, and improves leather softness.
  • Papermaking Pulping and Deinking of Waste Paper: Recommended dosage: 0.1~0.5% (based on oven-dry pulp). It enhances the penetration of cooking liquor into fiber materials and improves deinking efficiency.
  • High-Temperature Metal Cleaning: Recommended dosage: 2~10g/L. Used with alkaline or acidic cleaners at 60~90℃, it accelerates the stripping and dispersion of oil stains and carbon deposits.
  • Pesticide Penetration Enhancer: Recommended dosage: 3%~10% of the total formulation. It reduces the surface tension of the spray liquid, enhancing wetting, spreading, and penetration absorption on target plants and insect surfaces.

Precautions

  • This product is moderately irritating to the eyes. Chemical safety goggles and nitrile rubber protective gloves must be worn during operation.
  • Avoid long-term storage in extremely low temperatures below -5℃ to prevent increased viscosity or stratification. If stratification occurs before use, stirring will not affect the performance.
  • Do not contact directly with strong oxidants. The operation area should be well-ventilated to avoid vapor accumulation at high temperatures.
  • Undiluted product must not be directly discharged into water bodies or soil. Waste disposal must comply with local environmental regulations.
  • Packaging specifications: 50kg plastic drum, 200kg plastic drum, IBC tote tank. Inventory management follows the "first-in, first-out" principle.
