The core characteristics of Polyether L-35 (Poloxamer 105) are low foam wetting, efficient emulsification, broad compatibility, and high safety.

Main Characteristics

1. Efficient Low-Foam Wetting — A difunctional nonionic surfactant formed by block copolymerization of ethylene oxide (EO) and propylene oxide (PO), possessing excellent dynamic wetting and spreading ability while generating minimal foam, especially suitable for systems where defoaming is difficult.

2. Excellent Emulsifying and Dispersing Power — Exhibits good emulsification and dispersion stability for various oil phases and pigments, effectively improving the uniformity of mixed formulations and preventing stratification and flocculation.

3. Broad Chemical Compatibility — The molecular structure is stable, maintaining activity in aqueous systems, acid-base solutions, and environments containing electrolytes (such as hard water), and is well compatible with various industrial formulation components.

4. High Safety — Acute oral toxicity LD₅₀ (rat) > 5 g/kg, extremely low toxicity; non-irritating to skin, only very mildly irritating to eyes. Not classified as a hazardous chemical, non-flammable and non-explosive.
