Product Overview

MOA-7 (AEO-7), chemically C12-14 fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene (7) ether, is a medium-high polymerization nonionic surfactant with excellent emulsifying, wetting and detergency properties. It is used as a textile dyeing leveling agent and metal cleaning agent. At 40°C it appears as a colorless to slightly yellow transparent liquid, becoming a white paste at room temperature.

Performance Features

  • HLB approximately 12: Excellent O/W emulsification and detergency performance.
  • Strong wetting action: Rapidly penetrates fiber bundles and fabric structures.
  • Effective metal cleaning: Removes oils, greases and processing residues from metal surfaces.
  • Good leveling properties: Promotes even dye distribution and prevents streaking.
  • Readily soluble in water: Forms clear to slightly hazy aqueous solutions.

Application Guidelines

  1. Textile Leveling Agent: 0.1%-0.5% in the dyebath.
  2. Metal Cleaning: 2%-8% in immersion or spray cleaning at 50-70°C.
  3. Industrial Detergent: 1%-5% with alkaline builders.
  4. Wool Scouring: 0.5-2g/L in scouring baths.

Packaging and Storage

50kg plastic drum, 200kg plastic drum, IBC tote. Cool dry storage. 24-month shelf life.

MOA/AEO Ethoxylate Applications
