Product Overview

Peregal O-15, chemically fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene (15) ether (CAS 68439-49-6), is a nonionic surfactant with an HLB of approximately 14.5. It exhibits excellent emulsifying, dispersing, wetting, leveling and detergency capabilities, making it suitable for textile dyeing pretreatment and dyeing, industrial hard surface cleaning and degreasing, and cosmetic cream and lotion preparation. Guoli Chemical supports sample testing and provides in-stock supply with customizable specifications.

Performance Features

  • High emulsifying power: With a higher HLB value, it forms stable O/W emulsions across a broad range of oil types.
  • Excellent wetting and penetration: Rapidly wets fiber surfaces and penetrates into fabric structures for thorough treatment.
  • Good scouring properties: Effectively removes natural oils, waxes and impurities from textiles during pretreatment.
  • Effective detergency: Provides reliable soil suspension and removal in cleaning applications.
  • Metal cleaning performance: Suitable for industrial metal degreasing and hard surface cleaning formulations.

Application Guidelines

  1. Textile Dyeing Leveling: 0.1%-0.5% on weight of fabric in the dyebath.
  2. Textile Scouring: 0.5-2g/L combined with alkaline agents for pretreatment.
  3. Industrial Cleaning: 1%-5% in spray and immersion cleaning formulations at 50-80°C.
  4. Cosmetic Emulsifier: 1%-4% in O/W cream and lotion formulations.

Packaging and Storage

50kg plastic drum, 200kg plastic drum, IBC tote. Cool, dry storage. 24-month shelf life.

Peregal O-15 Applications
