Product Overview

Peregal O-80, chemically C16-18 fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene (80) ether (CAS 68439-49-6), is a very high HLB nonionic surfactant with outstanding emulsifying, dispersing, wetting and penetrating properties. It is suitable for textile dyeing leveling, daily chemical emulsification, pesticide emulsification, industrial cleaning, metalworking fluids and emulsion polymerization. As a source factory product, free sample mailing and technical formula support are available.

Performance Features

  • Extremely high cloud point (>100°C): Suitable for the most demanding high-temperature textile dyeing and industrial processes.
  • Outstanding leveling and dispersing: Provides exceptional dye migration control and uniform coloration at elevated temperatures.
  • Excellent solubilizing: The long PEO chain effectively solubilizes hydrophobic substances into clear aqueous systems.
  • Good detergent properties: Effective in high-temperature scouring and washing applications.
  • Superior stability: Resistant to hydrolysis, acids, alkalis and electrolytes due to the stable ether bond structure.

Application Guidelines

  1. High-Temperature Textile Leveling: 0.1%-0.5% in dyebath, especially for polyester dyeing at 130°C.
  2. Emulsion Polymerization: 1%-4% as a stabilizer for high-solids latex production.
  3. Glass Fiber Sizing: 0.5%-2% in sizing formulations for excellent film formation.

Packaging and Storage

20kg woven bag. Store in a cool, dry place. Shelf life: 24 months.
