Tristyrylphenol Ethoxylate 600-2 (CAS: 99734-09-5) is a polymer surfactant prepared by using tristyrylphenol as the hydrophobic group (lipophilic end) and introducing hydrophilic polyoxyethylene ether chains through ethylene oxide (EO) addition polymerization. Its molecular structure contains three styrene-substituted benzene rings in the tristyrylphenol moiety, providing strong hydrophobicity and interfacial adsorption capacity; the polyoxyethylene ether chains endow the product with excellent water solubility and hydrophilicity, thus giving it outstanding emulsifying, dispersing, and wetting functions.
This product is commonly known as Tristyrylphenol Ethoxylate 600#-2, with the general English name Tristyrylphenol ethoxylate (abbreviated as TSP EO), also often referred to as Polyoxyethylene tristyrylphenyl ether. The number "600-2" is mainly used to distinguish product specifications with different ethylene oxide addition numbers—the average EO addition number of 600-2 is about 9~10 moles, forming a gradient difference in hydrophilic-lipophilic balance (HLB value) with its sister product 600-1, facilitating formulators to select or blend according to actual needs.

Based on its unique molecular structure, Tristyrylphenol Ethoxylate 600-2 is widely used in the following fields:
This product is a low-toxicity chemical but has irritant properties, classified as skin irritation (Category 2, H315) and serious eye irritation (Category 2, H319). Protective gloves and goggles should be worn during operation to avoid direct contact with skin and eyes. Store in a cool, dry, and well-ventilated place, with a recommended temperature of 5-35°C. Solidification or increased viscosity at low temperatures is a normal physical phenomenon. Before use, warm up at room temperature and stir evenly to restore fluidity, which does not affect product quality.
