Castor Oil Polyoxyethylene Ether EL-80 is a light yellow paste to solid at room temperature. The key storage conditions are to control temperature and prevent moisture. High temperature will cause the product to soften and cake, affecting performance; low temperature may harden the paste, increasing difficulty in handling. Therefore, the storage environment should avoid extreme temperatures, maintain a stable temperature in the warehouse, keep away from fire and heat sources, and avoid exposure to sunlight and rain.
This product is hygroscopic. After opening the container, it should be resealed as soon as possible to prevent absorption of moisture from the air which may degrade product quality. Also keep away from incompatible materials such as strong oxidizing agents, strong acids, and strong bases to avoid chemical reactions. The storage area should have an impermeable floor and be equipped with emergency spill containment facilities to manage potential packaging damage or leaks.
Under sealed and compliant storage conditions, the product shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacture. It is recommended to follow the "first-in, first-out" principle to ensure inventory is used within the shelf life.
