MOA-5 (AEO-5) is a classic nonionic surfactant, chemical name: C12-14 fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene (5) ether (CAS No.: 68439-50-9). However, when stored together with incompatible substances such as strong oxidizers, strong acids, strong alkalis, dangerous reactions may occur; therefore, they must be strictly separated during storage and use.

The main hazard of this product to human health is its irritating effect. According to GHS classification, it is classified as skin irritant (Category 2) and serious eye damage/eye irritant (Category 2A), with hazard statements H315 (causes skin irritation) and H319 (causes serious eye irritation).
