Alkali-resistant penetrant AEP (fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether phosphate ester) appears as a colorless to light yellow transparent liquid with a molecular weight of 700~900. This product is easily soluble in water at room temperature, with a density between 1.05~1.10 g/cm³ and a kinematic viscosity of approximately 200~500 mPa·s. It is an anionic surfactant with high surface activity; the surface tension of a 1% aqueous solution is 30~35 mN/m, and the critical micelle concentration (CMC) is only 0.01~0.05 g/L, meaning it can effectively reduce the surface tension of the system at very low dosage.
In terms of chemical stability, AEP performs exceptionally well. It can withstand up to 200g/L sodium hydroxide solution, does not decompose or produce oil slick under high-temperature boiling conditions, and can also tolerate certain concentrations of acidic environments and high-hardness water. Its low-foaming characteristic means it does not cause operational issues due to foam accumulation in various industrial cleaning and circulating systems. The total active substance content of AEP is ≥98.0%, moisture content ≤1.0%, and free phosphoric acid content is controlled at ≤5.0%, ensuring product purity and safety in use.

In textile pre-treatment (alkali-oxygen bath scouring and bleaching, mercerizing penetration), the recommended dosage of AEP is 1~5g/L; in leather soaking and degreasing and paper pulping penetration processes, it is usually added at 0.1%~0.5% by weight of the treated material; in alkaline cleaning formulations for hard metal surfaces, as a penetration enhancing component, the recommended addition is 2%~8% of the total formulation. The actual dosage should be determined through compatibility tests based on the alkali concentration of the working solution, treatment temperature, and substrate conditions to achieve optimal process effectiveness and economy.
