How to use eco-friendly penetrant JFC-M alcohol?

Answer
2026-05-17 官方文档 环保型渗透剂JFC-M醇

Eco-friendly penetrant JFC-M alcohol can be directly diluted with water for use. The recommended dosage is 0.1%-0.5% (by weight) of the working solution. It is suitable for process conditions from room temperature to 95°C, with simple operation and excellent compatibility.

Detailed Description

Eco-friendly penetrant JFC-M alcohol is a non-ionic surfactant, easily soluble in water. When using, simply add it slowly to a measured amount of water under stirring, and stir until a clear and transparent solution is obtained. This product remains stable under a wide range of acid, alkali, and hard water conditions, and can be used in combination with anionic, cationic, and amphoteric auxiliaries, offering strong formulation adaptability. Its cloud point range is 85~95°C, maintaining good penetration and wetting effects even in high-temperature processes (such as textile scouring and bleaching).

In textile printing and dyeing pretreatment processes, this product accelerates the penetration of alkali and auxiliaries into fibers, promoting the swelling and removal of sizing agents and impurities, thereby improving pretreatment efficiency and whiteness. In the field of hard surface cleaning, JFC-M alcohol effectively penetrates between oil stains and substrates, promoting the emulsification and stripping of oil stains. In leather degreasing, paper machine felt cleaning, and pesticide formulations, it also plays a key role due to its excellent penetration and spreading ability. As the product is low-foaming, it is easy to rinse, reducing water consumption and energy.

The product has a freezing point of approximately -70°C, maintaining good fluidity at low temperatures. However, it is recommended to restore the product to room temperature before use under conditions near the freezing point. JFC-M alcohol is APEO-free, readily biodegradable (OECD 301B, >60% degradation in 28 days), and complies with major global environmental regulations, reducing the burden of wastewater treatment after use.

Application Recommendations

Textile Printing and Dyeing (Pretreatment Penetrant, Scouring Agent)

The recommended dosage is 0.1%~0.5% (by weight) of the working solution. It can be directly added to desizing, scouring, or bleaching baths and stirred evenly. Suitable for pretreatment of cellulosic fibers such as cotton and linen, as well as their blended fabrics, significantly improving capillary effect and whiteness. Note: The specific dosage should be determined through small-scale trials based on fabric type, degree of soiling, and equipment conditions. Currently, there are no optimal process parameters for each fiber type in the database.

Industrial Hard Surface Cleaning

Recommended dosage 0.2%~0.5%. Better results are achieved when combined with alkaline cleaners or surfactants. For degreasing cleaning of metal parts and equipment containers, immersion, spraying, or ultrasonic cleaning methods can be used, with temperatures ranging from room temperature to 60°C. Due to its low foaming property, it is particularly suitable for high-pressure spray cleaning systems.

Leather Degreasing

Recommended dosage is 0.1%~0.3% of the leather weight, used together with a degreasing agent to accelerate the emulsification and dispersion of grease, making degreasing more uniform and thorough. The recommended use temperature is controlled at room temperature to 45°C.

Paper Machine Felt Cleaning and Deinking

For online felt cleaning, it is recommended to continuously add at 0.05%~0.2% of the wash liquor; for waste paper deinking, the recommended dosage is 0.1%~0.3% of the oven-dry paper weight, used synergistically with deinking agents to enhance the separation and suspension ability of ink particles.

Pesticide Formulation Penetration Enhancement

As a tank-mix adjuvant, the recommended dosage is 0.05%~0.1% of the diluted spray solution (approximately 500~1000 mg\/L); as a formulation component, the addition amount should be determined through efficacy and stability tests. It can effectively reduce the surface tension of the spray liquid, improving wetting and spreading ability on plant leaf and insect body surfaces.

Precautions

  • When using, it is recommended to wear protective gloves and goggles, and ensure good ventilation in the operating area.
  • After opening, the container should be sealed immediately to prevent moisture absorption and impurity contamination. The product is hygroscopic; prolonged exposure to humid air may affect the effective content.
  • It is recommended to use containers made of stainless steel, polyethylene, or polypropylene for storage and preparation.
  • Store at a temperature between 5°C and 40°C, avoid freezing. The product has a freezing point of approximately -70°C, so it generally will not freeze in winter, but extreme low-temperature storage should still be avoided.
  • Closed-cup flash point is about 43°C. Keep away from open flames and high-temperature heat sources during operation, and use anti-static equipment.
  • Avoid direct mixing with strong oxidizers, strong acids, or strong alkalis. If compounding is required, perform compatibility testing first.
  • This product is low-toxicity (rat oral LD50 > 2000 mg\/kg), non-irritating to skin and eyes, but prolonged or repeated skin contact is still not recommended. Wash thoroughly after operation.
