Polyether F-38 (Poloxamer 108) is a non-ionic surfactant with excellent chemical stability. It is stable under normal storage and handling conditions, non-flammable, has no auto-ignition temperature, and is not classified as a hazardous material. Proper storage ensures the product maintains optimal performance within its shelf life.
Temperature control is particularly important during storage. When the ambient temperature falls below 5°C, the product may solidify or become turbid. This is a normal physical change. Simply warm the material and stir evenly to restore it to its original clear liquid state, without affecting product quality. High temperatures should also be avoided; the upper storage temperature limit should not exceed 40°C.
From a chemical compatibility perspective, Polyether F-38 should be stored away from strong oxidizing agents, as contact with them may cause adverse reactions. Under normal storage conditions, the product does not decompose. However, if combustion occurs, it may produce carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, and other irritating or toxic fumes.
