This product is commonly known as emulsifier 600P or 600# phosphate ester, appearing as a light yellow to yellow high-viscosity liquid. Its molecular structure is unique, combining a multi-aromatic ring lipophilic backbone with polyoxyethylene chains through synergistic arrangement, and further introducing anionic functionality via phosphate ester groups, enabling strong interfacial control in complex systems. The active content is ≥85%, readily soluble in water and many organic solvents, with an HLB value of approximately 12.5, making it a hydrophilic emulsifier and dispersant with strong water affinity.

As one of the core products of Guo Li Chemical, 600P-85% is widely used in various industrial fields such as pesticide formulations, textile dyeing and finishing, metalworking, industrial cleaning, water-based coatings, emulsion polymerization, and oilfield chemicals. Its greatest technical advantages include efficient emulsification and dispersion capabilities, strong resistance to electrolytes and hard water, excellent wetting and spreading power, and lower foam volume compared to traditional anionic surfactants. It can be well compounded with nonionic, anionic, cationic, and amphoteric surfactants in formulations.

From a safety perspective, this product is low-toxicity (rat oral LD50 > 2000 mg/kg), but due to its phosphate ester group, it is acidic (1% aqueous solution pH 2.0~3.5). Typical recommended uses include: as an efficient emulsifier and dispersant in pesticide emulsifiable concentrates, emulsion concentrates, and suspension concentrates; as a high-temperature leveling agent and scouring agent in textile dyeing and finishing; as an emulsifying and anti-corrosion synergist in metalworking fluids; as a pigment wetting and dispersing agent in water-based coatings and inks; for controlling latex particle size in emulsion polymerization systems; and for interfacial activity in enhanced oil recovery. It is recommended to add this product during the acid or base adjustment stage of formulation development and optimize the dosage through gradient trials. Due to its strong acidity, if the final formulation requires near-neutral pH, an appropriate amount of alkali should be added to adjust to the target pH.

  • The 1% aqueous solution of the product has a pH of 2.0~3.5, indicating acidity. It is recommended to wear protective gloves and goggles during operation to avoid prolonged direct contact with skin and eyes.
