600P-85% (also known as emulsifier 600P, 600# phosphate ester) is an anionic surfactant with high active matter content (≥85%) produced by Guoli Chemical. This product uses tristyrylphenol polyoxyethylene ether as the backbone, modified by phosphation, possessing dual characteristics of both nonionic and anionic surfactants, exhibiting excellent interfacial control capabilities in complex systems.
Its core advantages lie in: the synergistic effect of the unique multi-aromatic ring lipophilic backbone and polyoxyethylene chain provides excellent emulsification and dispersion capabilities for various oil phases and active substances; the phosphate ester group endows the product with outstanding acid-alkali resistance and hard water tolerance, maintaining stable activity in high-salt and high-electrolyte systems; it also exhibits excellent wetting and spreading properties, low-foaming and foam-suppressing characteristics, and broad formulation compatibility, allowing good compounding with nonionic, anionic, cationic, and amphoteric surfactants.
This product is of low toxicity (rat oral LD50 > 2000 mg/kg), appears as a light yellow to yellow high-viscosity liquid, readily soluble in water and organic solvents, and poses a low risk to human health under normal industrial use conditions. However, it should be noted that this substance is not readily biodegradable, and waste disposal should comply with local environmental regulations.

Pesticide Formulations: Suitable for emulsifiable concentrates (EC), emulsions in water (EW), microemulsions (ME), suspension concentrates (SC), and oil-based suspension concentrates (OD), as a highly effective emulsifier and dispersant. The recommended dosage should be determined through gradient tests based on the formulation type and oil phase properties, usually added during the acid or alkali adjustment stage and stirred thoroughly.
Textile Printing and Dyeing: Used as a core component of high-temperature leveling agents, scouring agents, and dispersants, helping dyes to evenly dye, preventing color spots and streaks, and improving fabric hand feel and color fastness.
Metalworking and Industrial Cleaning: Provides excellent emulsification and anti-rust properties in metal cutting, wire drawing, and other processing fluids, recommended at 5%~15% of the total formulation. In hard surface cleaning formulations, it effectively removes oil stains while offering low foaming and anti-corrosion performance.
Water-Based Coatings and Inks: Acts as an efficient wetting and dispersing agent for pigments and fillers, recommended at 2%~8% of the pigment weight, effectively preventing floating color, flooding, and pigment sedimentation, improving the storage stability and color development of pigment pastes.
Emulsion Polymerization: Provides fine and stable micelles for emulsion polymerization systems such as vinyl acetate and acrylates, controlling particle size distribution and improving the overall performance of polymer emulsions. In the oilfield sector, it can be used in drilling fluids and enhanced oil recovery operations, withstanding high temperature and high salt downhole environments.
