Guoli Chemical's Detergent AR-812 (CAS No.: 9036-19-5) is a nonionic surfactant with fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene ether as the main component, with an HLB value of 13 and a cloud point of 65~70°C (1% aqueous solution). Among similar products, its core differentiation advantages are reflected in: extremely outstanding detergency — penetration force ≤10 seconds (standard canvas sheet method), enabling rapid wetting of fabrics and hard surfaces, penetrating deep into fibers or micro gaps to effectively remove oil, floating colors, and solid impurities; excellent emulsifying and dispersing ability — quickly emulsifies oil into tiny droplets and stably disperses them in the working solution, effectively preventing re-contamination, which is particularly critical in the soaping process of reactive dyes, disperse dyes, and vat dyes.
Compared with another detergent of our company, AR-815 (low-foaming type, sodium salt of acrylic acid and maleic anhydride copolymer), AR-812 is a high detergency, medium-foaming type product, more suitable for process stages requiring strong decontamination. Its chemical stability is excellent — maintaining stable performance under acid, alkali, and hard water conditions, with a wide process adaptability range; broad compatibility, allowing mixing with anionic, cationic, and other nonionic auxiliaries for flexible formulation. In addition, AR-812 is APEO-free, with a biodegradability of ≥90% (OECD 301B method), meeting international environmental regulations, and its environmental compliance is significantly superior to traditional phenol ether products.
From the perspective of safety and ease of use, AR-812 has a flash point (closed cup) >200°C, non-flammable; pour point <-10°C, good low-temperature fluidity, easy to measure and add; skin irritation index <0.5, eye irritation integral index 0, friendly to operators, suitable for large-scale industrial application scenarios.

Textile Printing and Dyeing Field: AR-812 is especially suitable for pretreatment scouring (after desizing, scouring, bleaching) of cellulosic fibers and their blends, as well as soaping to remove floating color after dyeing and printing with reactive dyes, disperse dyes, and vat dyes. The recommended dosage should be determined based on the bath ratio and degree of soiling; generally, the suggested dosage for soaping is 1~3g\/L (based on working solution). Its strong penetration and emulsifying-dispersing properties can significantly improve color fastness and color brightness.
Industrial Cleaning and Metalworking: Suitable for degreasing and deoiling of metal parts, heavy oil cleaning of hard surfaces, with better results when used with ultrasonic or spray cleaning equipment. In the paper industry, it is used for online or off-line washing of paper machine felts, effectively restoring felt air permeability and elasticity, and extending service life.
Scenarios with AR-815 Combined Use: If the process requires low-foaming characteristics (e.g., high-pressure spray cleaning), AR-815 can be used; if strong detergency is required (e.g., immersion soaping, heavy oil cleaning), AR-812 is a better choice. The two can be flexibly switched or blended according to actual needs.
