G-25 Glycereth-25, as a nonionic surfactant, is chemically stable, but under improper storage conditions, it may still undergo moisture absorption, deterioration, or performance degradation. Proper storage management not only ensures product quality but is also an important part of safe production.
This product should be stored in a dedicated warehouse, away from heat sources, sparks, and open flames. Although the product itself is not flammable, thermal decomposition may produce irritating fumes, so high-temperature environments must be avoided. At the same time, freezing should be avoided, as low temperatures may cause changes in the product's form (such as solidification or stratification of the paste), affecting ease of use and uniformity.
The warehouse floor should be imperviously treated and equipped with emergency containment trenches or dikes to prevent the product from entering the soil or water bodies in case of accidental leakage. Containers should be placed in corrosion-resistant, non-permeable secondary containment vessels, and regularly inspected for signs of leakage, deformation, or corrosion. If damage is found, it should be immediately transferred to an intact container.
| Storage Factor | Specific Requirement |
|---|---|
| Environmental Requirement | Cool, dry, well-ventilated dedicated warehouse |
| Temperature Range | 10°C to 40°C (avoid freezing and high temperature exposure) |
| Container Status | Keep tightly closed to prevent moisture absorption and deterioration |
| Avoid Sources | Heat sources, sparks, open flames |
| Incompatible Substances | Avoid mixing with strong oxidizing agents, strong acids, strong bases, etc. |
| Floor Protection | Impervious treatment with emergency containment trenches or dikes |
| Secondary Containment | Place in corrosion-resistant, non-permeable secondary containment vessels |
| Regular Inspection | Check containers for leakage, deformation, or corrosion; transfer immediately if damaged |
At low temperatures, the product may change from a liquid to a paste form. This is a normal physical change and does not affect product quality. Before use, it is recommended to allow the product to naturally warm up in an environment above 15°C. Once fluidity is restored, stir evenly before normal use. Do not heat directly with open flames or high temperatures.
For long-term storage or bulk purchasing users, it is recommended to follow the "first in, first out" principle and use the product as soon as possible after opening. After opening, the packaging drum should be promptly sealed to minimize contact with air and prevent moisture absorption.
