The usage method of Peregal O-3 varies depending on the application scenario. The recommended dosage is 0.5%~15% of the total formula weight, and the specific amount should be determined through experimental optimization.
Detailed Description
Peregal O-3 (Fatty alcohol polyoxyethylene (3) ether) is a nonionic surfactant with a low HLB value (6.5~8.5). It has strong lipophilicity and is mainly used in water-in-oil (W/O) emulsion systems. Before use, the product can be directly added to the oil phase and stirred evenly, then slowly add the water phase for emulsification; if the product is paste-like at low temperature, it is recommended to preheat it to 35~40°C to restore fluidity before adding. For industrial cleaning and textile auxiliary applications, it can be directly dispersed in warm water and then added to the working solution. Its chemical stability is excellent, and it can maintain activity in a wide range of acid-base conditions and hard water media.
Due to the large differences in formulation systems across different industries, the following recommended dosages are industry-wide empirical ranges (not official recommendations from Guoli Chemical). Users should verify through small-scale experiments to determine the optimal dosage.

Application Recommendations
The following are industry-wide dosage ranges for various application fields (for reference only, adjust according to specific formulations):
- W/O emulsifier (creams, lotions): 2%~8% of total formula, mix with oil phase and heat to 40~50°C before emulsification
- Pesticide emulsifiable concentrate emulsifier: 5%~15% of total EC, mix evenly with pesticide technical and solvent
- Metalworking fluids (cutting fluids, rolling oils): 5%~20% of concentrate, first dissolve in base oil then add water to prepare
- Industrial degreasing cleaner: 0.5%~3% of working solution, better effect when used with alkaline additives
- Synthetic fiber spinning oil: 10%~30% of total oil, compounded with other smoothing agents and antistatic agents
- Textile dyeing leveling agent: working solution concentration 0.5~2 g/L, bath ratio and temperature set according to dyeing process
- Penetrant (fabric pretreatment): working solution concentration 1~3 g/L, can be used with alkali liquor, hydrogen peroxide, etc.
- Mineral oil emulsifying dispersant: 3%~10% of total oil phase, high-speed shearing emulsification gives better results
Precautions
- Preheating treatment: At low temperatures, the product may be paste-like or solid. It needs to be preheated and melted at 35~40°C before use. Open flame heating is strictly prohibited.
- Feeding sequence: It is recommended to first dissolve or disperse this product in the oil phase, then slowly add the water phase, which is conducive to forming a uniform and stable W/O emulsion.
- Compounding precautions: Avoid direct mixing and storage with incompatible substances such as strong oxidizers, strong acids, and strong bases.
- Safety protection: During operation, wear nitrile rubber gloves and chemical safety goggles, avoid direct contact with skin and eyes, and ensure good ventilation in the workplace.
- Environmental requirements: Do not discharge the product or packaging waste into water bodies. Waste disposal must be handled by qualified professional organizations.
- Storage conditions: Keep container tightly closed, store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place, away from heat sources and direct sunlight. Shelf life 24 months.
