To ensure operator safety, the following requirements must be strictly followed when using Emulsifier O-8:
Proper storage can extend product life and reduce safety risks:
Immediately move exposed person to fresh air. Maintain airway patency. If breathing is difficult, administer oxygen; if breathing stops, immediately perform artificial respiration and seek medical attention.
Immediately remove contaminated clothing and wash skin thoroughly with plenty of soap and water (following P302+P352). If irritation or discomfort occurs, seek medical attention.
This product is classified as Serious eye damage/eye irritation Category 1, posing a severe risk of eye damage. In case of contact, immediately lift the eyelids and rinse thoroughly with plenty of running water or saline for at least 15 minutes. Do not use any neutralizing agents, and seek immediate medical attention.
If feeling unwell, immediately call a poison center or doctor (P301+P312). Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting unless instructed by medical personnel. When seeking medical attention, show this container or label if possible.
Small spills: Absorb with sand, vermiculite, or other inert material, and collect in a sealed container for disposal. Large spills: Build dikes or containment pits, cover with foam to suppress vapors, transfer to specialized collection containers for recovery or disposal at waste treatment facilities. Do not allow product to enter drains, surface water, or soil.
Suitable extinguishing media: water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry powder, carbon dioxide. Firefighters must wear positive-pressure self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing, and fight fire from upwind based on combustion product hazards.
The most prominent safety risk of Emulsifier O-8 is serious eye damage (Category 1, the highest level of eye hazard). Safety goggles or face shields are absolutely indispensable personal protective equipment during operation. Additionally, this product has long-lasting effects on the aquatic environment. Waste liquid and rinse water must be properly collected and treated, and must not be directly discharged into natural water bodies or drains. For detailed safety data, please refer to the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS).
